AFTER SCHOOL

Kids Orbit is a not-for-profit after school 501(c) center serving elementary and middle school students since 1995.

 

Kids Orbit operates full scale after school programs.  We are warm and welcoming, providing children with a family-like atmosphere for their after school hours.  We offer the kind of flexibility that our families need.  We supervise homework and offer a variety of enrichment activities ranging from yoga and sports to art, music and drama.  We sit quietly and read and draw.  We play board games with our friends.  We laugh and have a lot of fun. 

 

For the 2023-24 school year Kids Orbit will be operating in schools in Brooklyn Heights, Ditmas Park, Fort Greene, Kensington, Park Slope, Prospect Heights & Williamsburg.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

​

  • We offer flexible daily, weekly and annual enrollment options.

  • Our excellent student/staff ratio creates a family-like environment and allows for plenty of individual attention.

  • Our Homework Room is supervised and all children complete as much of their schoolwork as possible, unless otherwise agreed upon with their families.

  • Non-sectarian. Children of all ethnic and religious groups are welcome.

  • We are professionally managed and well organized.

  • Kids Orbit sites are licensed by the NYC Department of Health. Kids Orbit is fully insured.

  • Tuition covers program fees, snacks and accident/medical insurance (limits apply).

  • Our affiliate, the Park Slope Day Camp opens its doors for February and April Holiday vacation weeks.  Schedules follow the NYC Department of Education calendar.   (Additional fees apply.)
