Kids Orbit staff is a fun loving and hard-working group of talented individuals. Applicants must be enthusiastic, creative, industrious, responsible, punctual, and resourceful and have a genuine love for children.
All applicants must be in good health and will be asked to submit a medical form completed by your physician prior to starting work.
Counselors and specialists must be a minimum of 17 years of age. Those under the age of 18 will need to submit working papers, which can be arranged through public high schools. If you are a private school student you can obtain working papers through the Board of Education office at 475 State Street (3rd Avenue). Applicants will also complete a series of clearance papers for submission to the Office of Child and Family Services.
Counselors and Junior Counselors must be available at least 3 afternoons a week from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
Specialists must be available at least 2 days a week from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm.
